Mission & Core Values

We make a universal impact..

Mission Statement

We make a universal impact through the practical delivery of the life-changing teachings of Jesus Christ, demonstrating unconditional love to all people and growing believers from membership to discipleship—all with a spirit of excellence that best represents our Lord and Savior.

FC3 Core Values

Our ten core values bring clarity to the things that are important to FC3. They guide how we follow God’s vision and the mission He has assigned to us. The core values influence leadership, ministry, staffing, and budgetary decisions. In essence, these core values help us focus on the special calling God has given to FC3.

God Loves All People

Our belief is that GOD loves all persons. GOD has ordained the church to love, minister, and provide guidance to all persons. The church is to provide spiritual and emotional care that will facilitate reconciliation with GOD, with others, and with self. We do not condone behavior we consider in opposition of Christian teaching. However, we affirm that GOD’s redeeming grace is for all.

“But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not look at his appearance or at the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for God sees not as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart."
– 1 Samuel 16:7

Transformative Power of Jesus Christ

We believe regardless of one’s past or situation the Gospel of Jesus Christ can change, renew, and bring a person to salvation and restoration. We can put off the old self and put on the new self created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.” (Ephesians 4:22-24)

“Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may prove what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
– Romans 12:2

Christian Knowledge

God desires that we know Him and be in an intimate relationship with Him. It is through studying the scriptures and our relationship with Him that we have access to His infinite knowledge.

“Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.”
2 Timothy 2:15

Worship

We were created to worship GOD. It is from an attitude of deep respect and adoration that causes us to stand in awe and value our opportunity to exalt GOD! Our Creator initiates our worship of Him and we respond to His invitation because He deserves our worship.

"But the hour is coming, and now is, when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is a spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth."
John 4:23-24

Hope

The hope we value is not one of chance or wishful thinking; rather it is the confidence in the promises of GOD. It is our belief that GOD desires His people to live a life free from hopelessness.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11

Outreach

“What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.”
James 2:14

Excellence

We believe GOD is worthy of and deserves our best. We honor GOD when we strive to do all things well. It’s not about being perfect; it’s all about honoring the Perfect One.

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”
Colossians 3:23-24
